These are some of my favorite courses that have given me a broader understanding of East Asia...
I took a one month long online course focused around the Globalization of East Asia. In this course I learned about how Japan, Korea, and China modernized throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. I absolutely loved learning about cultural norms for all of these countries and the strategic ways they industrialized. I strongly recommend this course to you if you enjoy learning and studying East Asian culture!
In this course, I learned about religions that are extremely popular in the East Asian region. Some of the religions include Confucianism, Buddhism, Daoism, and Shinto. I studied these religions and figured out how they can help promote environmental goals throughout the world. For example, Daoism promotes being stationary and not interfering with nature's flow. Taking tips from these religions and practicing them can motivate several supportive enrionmental ideals to help the Earth.
